We are thrilled to welcome you to the BIGGEST Team Tournament in CANADA; the second annual HISPORTS Team Cup, now with *32 teams* ready to compete and showcase their skills on the court! With an expanded field of talented players, this year's tournament promises to be even more exciting, competitive, and fun.

Event Details:

Date & Time:
- Saturday, February 8, 2025
- The Durham Sportsplex; 1289 Terwillegar Ave (12 courts)
- Check-In opens at 8:00 AM
- Games begin at 9:00 AM sharp
- Tournament will run until approximately 6:00PM

Food & Refreshments:
- Breakfast: Tim Hortons Timbits and coffee (please refrain from bringing coffee onto the courts!)
- Lunch: More details to come—stay tuned!
- Snacks & Water: Be sure to bring extra snacks and water to keep you energized throughout the day.

Tournament Format:
- Round-Robin followed by playoffs: Games played to 41 rally scoring, with a point freeze at 40 and 38 (5 matches guaranteed)
- Switches: Starting with 2.5/3.0/3.5/4.0+ players, pairings will switch on and off after every 5 rallies
- Timeouts: Each team is allowed one timeout per game.
- Sides: Teams will switch sides at 21 points.
- Ball: Official tournament ball is the JOOLA Heleus Outdoor Ball.

Awards & Prizes:
- Tournament MVP: Will be rewarded with a prize pack courtesy of our sponsors
- Flight Champions: Prizes for the "A" and "B" Flight champions will be sponsored by JOOLA (To be announced)
- Tyson McGuffin Award(s): Prize(s) for the most high-energy and sportsmanlike players will be sponsored by JOOLA (To be announced)

50/50 Draw: All proceeds from the 50/50 draw will benefit CAMDA Sports, a charity supporting underprivileged youth in sports.
DJ Alex Top Hits: Get ready to groove between games with our very own DJ Alex, spinning high-energy beats to keep the vibes strong throughout the tournament
Team Draft
- Individuals: Team captains will meet with HISPORTS Tournament team one week prior to the tournament to participate in a team draft.
- Team submissions: If you register a full team or a full team + a HISPORTS Pro, please email your roster to info@hisports.ca and christina.chin@hisports.ca. Team submissions are subject to review by the HISPORTS Tournament team.
- Other: Minimum 2 female players per team
- Team T-Shirts: HISPORTS Dry Fit T-Shirts will be provided to each participant (colour will be selected by the team captain)
